"As of Feb. 2nd. The 2012 Camp is now FULL"
1. The camp is still a go and gearing up for yet another great event for the kids, we are STILL FULL and won't be accepting anymore kids into the event at this time. We do have some great Raffle and Silent Auction items that help fund future camps so please go look at the new tab with pictures of some of our items.
2. Parents, please remember that if you are going to be staying at the camp for the day you would be wise to pack yourself a lawnchair.
3. Parents, please watch the weather forecast for Sat. May 5th and dress your children accordingly as the hunting camp will happen rain, snow or shine.
Introducing the Next Generation of Outdoorsmen to the Wilds of Idaho. A non-profit (501C3), Christian based organization serving children 9 to 16 years of age. Scooter’s Youth Hunting Camp is staffed by volunteers and is 100% free to all participants. We can accommodate 225 campers per year on a first come first serve basis. Over the last nine years more than 1440 kids have attended our camp.
Special thanks to my grandfather, the late HOMER E. ROBERTS for teaching me how to hunt and introducing me to GOD'S COUNTRY. Without his influence, Scooter’s Youth Hunting Camp would never have been possible.
2012 Camp will be 5th of May so mark those calendars and get pre-registered by email after 1 Feb. 2012.
